We launched Dwelling Boxes as a creative reaction to our collective parental panic attack. In the age of social media influence, climate disasters and school shooter drills, we’re challenged with helping our kids and ourselves maintain a healthy mindset amid daily influences that are very much out of our control. We found ourselves feeling a little overwhelmed. How could we help the kids stay confident, deal with anxiety and know home is a truly safe place to be ourselves? We decided to get creative with the one thing we can all control - our attitude. You’ve heard the saying… “It’s not what happens to you, but how you react that matters.” - Epictetus. Let’s do more than hashtag gratitude. Dwelling Boxes were created as a simple tool to help you and the people you love focus on the positive experiences and people you feel grateful for and let go of the negative “stuff” that feels out of your control.
