KITAMEN (“Kita Main”) is a Malaysia-based boutique gaming organization built at the intersection of competitive gaming & entertainment. Lead by Hazman “Zemang” Hassan together with bunch of hardcore & hungry nerds since 2017, KITAMEN was created with general goals of bringing gamers together through knowledge creation and sharing, as well as discovering local talent that can compete with players from other regions. To date, KITAMEN has organized more than 100 esports events nationwide (Malaysia), distributed more than RM 2,000,000 prize money & has worked with multiple local community partners to create an army of esports enthusiasts. KITAMEN worked with blue chip brands in Malaysia to cultivate esports in the country, leveraging principles of content marketing and storytelling. Our efforts have helped popularize esports in Malaysia while also establishing strong relationships with giant brands & organizations such as Media Prima, Telekom Malaysia, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Kementerian Belia & Sukan Malaysia, and many others. KITAMEN is also a proud winner of Malaysia’s SUPERB programme by TERAJU, in 2017.
