Iran Academia is dedicated to academic teaching in the humanities and social sciences disciplines. The objective of the Institute is to advance rigorous learning opportunities for students interested in examining and analysing current events and social developments occurring in Iran through the prism of the modern world. Iran Academia creates and facilitates access to inclusive education, teaching, and knowledge transfer in the realm of social sciences and humanities in such ways that take account of the theoretical, discursive and practical gaps and erasures that characterizes the state of social sciences education in Iran. Iran Academia, aims at enabling Iranian youth from all political, religious and ethnic backgrounds to access higher education and develop and apply critical thinking skills to a diverse range of social justice, political and human rights issues that are important to Iran’s democratization and yet are excluded from Iran’s higher education curriculum.
