Hi, I’m Bethany I’m a coach, who specialises in supporting women working in the charity sector to achieve growth in their careers and balance in their lives, so they can reach their goals while looking after their wellbeing. Trying to make a difference in this world can be tough... am I right? I established Awen Coaching in 2020. The seed of an idea which had been there for some time, during a year unlike any other, blossomed into my own business. Having spent over a decade working in fundraising and creative roles within a wide range of charities, I found that nurturing, inspiring and supporting others is my true passion. My clients and I work together to build their confidence, overcome challenges and reach their desired goals. They mostly work in the creative, charity or wellbeing sectors. With over a decade of experience working in creative roles within a wide range of charities I am well placed to support people seeking guidance in their work and life. Why Awen? Awen, pronounced ‘Ah-when’, is a Welsh, Cornish and Breton word meaning inspiration. Having enjoyed childhood holidays in France, graduating and spending the first 10 years of my career in Wales and getting married to my husband Alex in Cornwall, Awen has a special meaning.
