Real Therapy Solutions was established by Amanda Wood. After supporting people with a disability/ autism as initially a Behaviour Support Practitioner and then a Psychologist for over 18 years Amanda knew that she could be more effective as part of specialist multidisciplinary team. So she established Real Disability Care and Real Autism Care. When you have a learning difficulty, intellectual disability or Autism you often need support across variety of areas that can include speech and language, sensory support, fine and gross motor skills, emotional and psychological support. A multidisciplinary team ensure that each person receives continuity of care. Our philosophy is working together with our clients and their families/ carers to provide effective, practical support strategies that help each person succeed. We are a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologist, Behaviour Therapists with over 20 years’ experience supporting children and adults with Autism and/ or Disabilities. All our therapists are fully Registered with their Professional Association and have years of practical experience. We value and support ongoing professional development of all our staff so that we can provide the most up to date and effective supports to every person.
