Rubber Resources B.V.
www.rubber-resources.comRubber Resources, the innovative leader in rubber recycling, strives to preserve the environment and natural resources for future generations. Rubber Resources' recycling activities started over 60 years ago in Maastricht, the Netherlands, by the Dutch tire producer Vredestein. This company developed these activities out of an environmental green drive and of course for economical reasons, the re-usage of the devulcanized grades in their own tire compounds to achieve a cost saving. The high quality demands of the tire industry are still the main focus and standard quality level for our products. During the six decades of recycling we have been able to learn, improve and use that experience for the customers of today. The Maastricht plant is still the main location and headquarters where we devulcanise natural, butyl and whole tyre rubber. Next to this plant, our reclaim activities grew when we joined forces with the Elgi group in 2011. The two Elgi reclaim plants in India extended the devulcanized rubber capacity by more than 50%.
