Founded in 1995 by Joshua Blum, Washington Square Arts & Films is a production and management company with offices in New York and Los Angeles. The company manages and works with an internationally recognized roster of directors, writers and actors in the entertainment and advertising industries. Recent projects include: WSF produced THIRST STREET directed by Nathan Silver starring Anjelica Huston, Lindsay Burdge and Lola Bessis, which premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival; Alex Ross Perry's GOLDEN EXITS starring Emily Browning, Adam Horovitz, Mary-Louise Parker, Jason Schwartzman, Chloe Sevigny and Analeigh Tipton and Matt Ruskin's CROWN HEIGHTS, which both premiered at Sundance 2017. Others include: Dash Shaw's animated film MY ENTIRE HIGH SCHOOL SINKING INTO THE SEA, with voices by Lena Dunham, Jason Schwartzman, Susan Sarandon, Maya Rudolph and Reggie Watts, which premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival and NY Film Festival and will be released theatrically by GKIDS in Spring 2017; Colette Burson's PERMANENT with Patricia Arquette and Rainn Wilson; TROUBLE from writer/director Theresa Rebeck starring Angelica Huston and Bill Pullman; Alex Ross Perry’s LISTEN UP PHILIP and QUEEN OF EARTH; and JC Chandor's A MOST VIOLENT YEAR, ALL IS LOST, and MARGIN CALL. On the commercial end, WSF represents a roster of award-winning directors who create commercials and branded integrated content for clients including Apple, Coke, Verizon, Ford, Pepsi, Honda, Chevrolet, Miller, Progressive, Match.com, Hyundai, Ford, Febreze, Gillette, Samsung, Delta Airlines, Starwood Resorts, and many others. On the management side, the company represents, actors, writers, and directors. Washington Square Films has a history of launching young talent and guiding established artists in the worlds of Film, Television and Theater.
