Nestled in the picturesque Vale of Avoca you will find Woodenbridge Hotel, Ireland’s oldest hotel dating back to 1608. This traditional hotel, steeped in character, it best known for it’s history, atmosphere and food. The main hotel has 22 ensuite bedrooms, and the newer build Woodenbridge Lodge an additional 40 ensuite bedrooms. A number of these rooms have balconies with golf course and river views. We are situated directly across the road from the Woodenbridge Golf Club and are conveniently located within a short distance of Coollattin, Arklow, Macreddin,Wicklow, Blainroe and Courtown Golf clubs. Also nearby is The European Club, ranked in the top 100 golf courses in the world. We have an extensive menu in our Four Vales bar ranging from home made soup and sandwiches to fillet steak. There is something here to suit all tastes. We also offer daily specials and Sunday lunch. Vegetarian and Coeliac diners are also well catered for. Our home made brown bread and cheesecakes are definitely worth a try, you won't be disappointed! Bar food is served from 12.30 - 9.00pm each day. Our award winning Redmond Restaurant opens at 7.00pm each evening where diners have the choice of ordering from our Table d'hôte or À la carte Menu. The Redmond Restaurant is also open for Sunday lunch from 12.30 - 3.00pm. We also offer a range of menus for christenings, communions and special occasions. In addition to our main restaurant we have a private dining room and two function rooms; ‘The Cowhouse’ which caters for parties up to 80 and our main banqueting hall for functions up to 200 guests.
