Doyon Utilities, a joint venture between Doyon, Ltd and Fairbanks Sewer & Water, has been awarded utility privatization contracts for the United States Army in Alaska at Forts Wainwright, Greely, and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Doyon Utilities' headquarter is located in Fairbanks, with operational sites at each of the three military bases. Doyon Utilities owns and operates 12 utilities across the three locations, including power and steam generation, electrical distribution, district heating, water treatment and distribution, waste water collection, and natural gas distribution.
