Coalition for Global Health Innovation, also known as CGHI, is a cross-continental nonprofit organization by early career professionals for early career professionals in global health. Our vision is for all people to have access to healthy spaces that enable equal opportunities for good health and well-being. Our mission is to cultivate innovative solutions to create healthy spaces for all people by empowering early career professionals in global health to transform their innovative ideas into actionable projects. We do this through our community events and our pre-incubator styled CGHI Action Tank Program where we facilitate early career professionals to transform their innovative ideas into actionable projects. In this period, we are working on a community empowerment project in Kenya in our CGHI Action Tank Program. The Coalition was initially formed at the World Health Summit in Berlin, Germany, in October 2019. Since January 2021, CGHI has been registered as a nonprofit organization in Sweden. CGHI consists of the Executive Board, the Steering Group, the Advisory Group, and CGHI Community. Currently, we have 35 active Steering Group members from across 6 different continents, and a CGHI Community of more than 100 early career professionals from diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds.
