OSO Cloud Logisitics

www.oso.com

Overview: Founded in Beijing in 2013, OSO provides cloud-based, logistics solutions that bring internet efficiencies to supply chains. OSO solutions visualize, control, and optimize warehouse (WMS), transport (TMS), and yard (YMS) operations. We ran our own warehouses before (and while) developing OSO software solutions, which are hands-on and “designed by operator.” The OSO story: Founded by 35-year old Han Fei, a national Java programming champion at 19, who worked for Lenovo, Dell, and Oracle. In 2005, Fei set up a cross-border retail platform that included six warehouses in China and the US that he used as a laboratory to perfect an end-to-end suite of warehouse and logistics software which he then implemented for a major US-based 3PL, connecting Foxconn/Vizio with Walmart/Costco, shipping over eight million TVs annually. In 2015, OSO shifted its focus to China, bringing best practice and software that has proved itself in the US market. OSO products: - Warehouse management (WMS) - Transportation management (TMS) - Yard management (YMS) Selected OSO clients: - Logistics Team/South Bay Freight: Major US-based 3PL provider with 15 distribution centers - ANE Logistics: China’s largest Less Than Truckload (LTL) operator with a franchise model - LNET Logistics: A major 3PL provider for electronics, fashion, and e-commerce The meaning of OSO: “Online-Synchs-Offline” or OSO describes the pivotal role the internet and cloud-based logistics solutions can play in synchronizing (directing, optimizing, and reporting) nearly all offline business processes, including logistics.
