Originating from a provincial initiative of ACFO (the Association canadienne-française de l'Ontario), the Franco-Ontarian Foundation has been working for more than 30 years to expand the sources of income and funding for members of the province's Francophone community. Founded in 1986, it succeeds in achieving the objectives of this mandate, mainly through various endowment funds developed and implemented over the years. Starting from 4 funds in stewardship, the Foundation now has more than fifty (50) serving the development of the Francophonie at the provincial level. Mission The Franco-Ontarian Foundation provides financial support for initiatives that ensure the vitality of the Franco-Ontarian community. Mandate Collect funds to redistribute them to Francophones in the province through its endowment funds.
