Janet manages the operation and development of the Janet network and related collaborative services, on behalf of Jisc. Janet, together with Jisc Collections, forms Jisc Collections and Janet Limited. Janet is a subsidiary company to Jisc. Janet is government funded, with the primary aim of providing and developing a technology infrastructure that meets the needs of the UK's research and education communities.
