Bassindustry vzw is a Belgian non-profit organization with the aim of organizing cultural events for young people from the age of 16. The main activity is organizing parties and bus trips to parties & festivals. Bassindustry specializes in the harder music styles, especially hardcore. This style of music came over from the Netherlands in the 1990s and has been very popular in Belgium ever since. Since most hardcore parties still take place in the Netherlands, we offer an alternative in Belgium so that people can also enjoy the music genre. Although most board members have been active since 2003, the Bassindustry non-profit organisation (formerly Bassquarters) was founded in 2007. Since 2003 we have more than 50 successful events to our name ranging from 150 to 1200 visitors. Our events are known for its accessible prices, the friendly atmosphere among visitors (50+ events without any significant incidents) and the high quality sound & light, within the legal sound standards. With our bus trips to festivals, we offer a safe and environmentally friendly alternative for young people from in and around Leuven.
