"Mary Ellen Mark" Namisha Raj is a photographer and is currently based in Kashmir and Delhi. She is a graduate of the General Studies program at International Centre of Photography, New York and holds a BFA degree from the College of Art, Delhi. Her principal medium is portrait photography however she also has expertise and experience in travel, street, fashion, documentary and architectural photography. She has extensively travelled across India and USA and has some beautiful stories to tell through her images. She is a regular contributor to various Non-Profit Organizations in New York like Catalyst Network, Opera Theatre of Montclair, Lincoln Centre, Art Expo, New York Indian Film Festival, South Asian International Film Festival and National Committee on American Foreign Policy. In India, she has worked with different brands in the retail sector, Future Group is one and she has worked with Save the Children organisation too. She has also been a regular and visiting faculty at Pearl Academy and IIP, Noida. Talking about her exhibits, I have exhibited work in Greenpoint Gallery in Brooklyn, has also exhibited in the group show "Elective Affinities" at Rita. K. Hillman Education Gallery, ICP, New York. She has assisted "Robert Nickelesberg" in New York, who is known for his war photography in Afghanistan. She also worked with photojournalists "Beb Reynols" and "Joseph Rodriguez" and has also taken workshops from "Mary Allen Mark".
