We are a distance learning provider of choice and the centre of excellence for Building Information Modeling (BIM) programmes in Africa. We use a combination of three pillars, namely learning, training and placement. Our programmes integrate these pillars. We are majority-owned by Nido Trust, a registered charitable trust supporting the education sector in the continent. As a distance learning institution, we allow students to study from anywhere and not attend classes daily. Thus, we give our students a flexible alternative study that they can manage at their own pace. We understand that some of our students may need in-class learning support. Therefore, there are in-class tutorials offered on a full and part-time basis by various colleges and training entities in South Africa. The Institute offers superior qualifications at affordable fees, compared to the current BIM training programmes, which are out of reach to many people. Industry attachment is one of the courses our students have to complete. Our courses expose our students to the most needed hands-on work experiences and prepare them for employment opportunities. We are proud to be the first in Africa to open wider the doors of BIM learning, to allow many more students to learn about becoming BIM Engineers by taking one or more BIM courses at a time.
