Global Die Technology LLC History & More... Global Die Technology LLC has been established as a North American die and insert manufacturing company. Our traditional business model is based on the accomplishments of our Management and Manufacturing teams. Our company is comprised of individuals who bring to the table well over a 100 years of experience in the manufacturing and producing dies and inserts as well as handling and makeup equipment for Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG). Our Principals include CEO David Buck, founder and former owner of Superior Manufacturing & Hydraulics, and Precision Die Technologies (purchased by McCoy Global in 2007) and inventor of the CLINCHER® line of tubular makeup equipment. To date David has over 30 patents pertaining to the makeup and handling of OCTG (including the CLINCHER® Wraparound Die) and 3 Meritorious Awards for Engineering Innovation. Our President Jeffery Daigle, former General Manager of McCoy Global (Precision Die Technologies (PDT), and Superior Manufacturing & Hydraulics). Jeffery started PDT in 2005 and is responsible for establishing the lean manufacturing practices which allowed PDT to be recognized as a world leader in the die and insert business. Our General Manager David Youngblood, former Production Manager McCoy Global (Precision Die Technologies (PDT), and Superior Manufacturing & Hydraulics) has 25 plus years of manufacturing experience with producing dies and inserts as well as handling and makeup equipment for OCTG, including the world recognized GRITFACE® coating used in handling Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) tubulars.
