United Way of Central Kentucky brings individuals, industry, and organizations together to improve Education, Financial Stability, Health, and Basic Needs throughout Hardin, Breckinridge, Grayson, LaRue, and Meade Counties. In addition to raising funds that are then awarded as grants to local nonprofits, UWCK provides referrals to those needing direct assistance, manages the region's AmeriCorps VISTA program, and engages volunteers in service opportunities.
