Dentatus, founded in 1930 is known worldwide as a designer of systems and manufacturer of innovative high quality medical devices used in the dental field. Already in the 1930´s Dentatus reputation was established with its precision articulators, still in use at dental universities, and the first prefabricated endodontic Classic Post, considered the gold standard in clinical practice and still enjoying a dominant market position in many international markets today. In 1988, Bernard Weissman, the founder and former owner of Whaledent International, acquired Dentatus AB, establishing the Dentatus USA, Ltd. division to provide direct service to the North and South American markets.
