Setegap Ventures Petroleum Sdn Bhd was incorporated in Malaysia on December 7, 2004 as a wholly owned Bumiputra entity. SVP began business as the only Malaysian-owned and operated service providers to the upstream oil and gas sector, specializing in pumping and well services, well intervention, production enhancement and upstream drilling services. SVP expanded its scope of operations to include Coil Tubing Unit-related services in 2008; a mere year after Petronas conferred VDP-status to the company.
