Lawyer Moms Action was founded in June 2018 by lawyer moms who simply could not tolerate the cruel and illegal separation of migrant children from their parents by the U.S. government. Each of us would do anything to keep our children safe, and each of us swore an oath to defend the Constitution. At the intersection of these two perspectives, we advocate for the humane treatment of migrant families seeking asylum—all children should be with their families, and no child should languish in federal detention facilities or internment camps. While founded by lawyer moms, Lawyer Moms of America welcomes anyone and everyone to support and join in our advocacy efforts. If you have a heart, if you have a conscience, and if you want to make your voice heard to say “Enough is enough” when children are held hostage and used as pawns, this group is for you.
