Baldmin Engineering Works was established in 1998 with the intension of relocating the entire machine shop to Zambia to support the revitalization of the Zambian mining industry after privatization. With the failure of the initial privatization effort, in 1998, we decided to re-focus our efforts and consolidate our position from within South Africa. Baldmin was therefore incorporated in 1998, as a new heavy engineering machine shop, bringing together the various engineering and business skills to over 40 years engineering experience. Within 12 years of market presence, Baldmin has established itself a unique engineering company that consolidates different engineering sectors under one roof, as a one stop shop.
