ARki app is an Augmented Reality platform for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry. ARki provides instant AR creation via mobile or ipad, which helps users view, share and communicate design with greater clarity. The app was initially released on iOS in Nov 2018, and has received much press attention since its launch, receiving best Architecture app in several countries on iOS, and winning the best app in the Architizer awards 2019. The ARki toolkit allows Architects and 3d designers the ability to create dynamic mixed reality visualisations which can be used during the lifecycle of a building project. The use of Augmented reality technology allows users to create on-site visualisation with accuracy, and to visualise design iterations in 3d to all members of the design and construction team, for faster, and more efficient design communication.
