FROM STREET FOOD, TO DOWNING STREET...! Big Apple was started with just £2k (of savings) used to set up a hot dog cart on Old Street in London, and then just grew and grew - all from word of mouth and Twitter. Before long we had won a British Street Food award, been on the cover of International magazines, helped found Street Feast, traded (by invitation) at huge festivals & major sporting events all around the UK and even the UAE. We've had rave reviews in The Times, catered for Tom Cruise, supplied Heston Blumenthal, AND been invited to Number 10 Downing Street. The jaw-dropping speed of service & levels of sales that we achieved trading at festivals & sports stadia events, with minimal staff & rudimentary equipment led to Big Apple Hot Dogs invariably winning games of mental "Street Food Top Trumps" amongst the other traders. We know because Pizza Pilgrims told us! Our hot dogs have been called the perfect product, and now our goal is to grow by teaching the tricks of the trade & bringing the fun & the success we've enjoyed to other caterers, hospitality businesses, traders & entrepreneurs.
