Icebox Cafe’s success over the years has led to numerous expansions including airport locations at Miami International and Dallas Fort Worth International airports, as well as the creation of Fig & Fennel, an additional, Mediterranean concession concept for travelers. On October 1, 2020, Icebox Cafe Hallandale Beach opened as part of a new, a state-of-the-art facility, commissary and culinary training center in the City of Hallandale Beach. The facility consists of a 9,300 square foot commissary, with an attached 2,100 square foot fully-integrated, computer-controlled greenhouse. The Icebox Pantry Test Kitchen and Culinary Center (IPTKCC) and Icebox Cafe Hallandale Beach is centrally located in the heart of the City of Hallandale Beach’s community redevelopment district and is surrounded by several new development projects including ArtSquare, Big Easy, The Fashion and Arts District Development and Arts Boulevard.
