The Village Square Trust, previously named Parnell Community Trust, is a place for all to meet, learn, create and grow. We're a non-profit community services provider for people of all ages and have more than 30 years' experience in bringing people in our community together. We operate as a social enterprise with profits generated from the Trust's operations helping to fund a broad range of services to people of all ages in our community. We manage both Parnell Community Centre and Epsom Community Centre on behalf of Auckland Council and from here we provide Community Classes and Social Activities. We also provide affordable Venue Hire of a range of rooms within the Centres for community, business and private use From Parnell Community Centre we also manage the weekly Parnell Farmers’ Market and monthly Craft Harvest market and annual Heritage Walks. The Village Square Trust offers a range of services for parents and children. We have two early childhood education centres in Parnell - Parnell and Gladstone Park Early Childhood Centre, a school holiday programme at Parnell Community Centre and Epsom Normal Primary School, and before and after school programmes at Epsom Normal Primary School and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart school. Our KidsHQ SuperMeals provide parents with a range of frozen meals for children, based on our centres’ gold award-winning Healthy Heart meals. The Village Square Trust has a strong focus on community well being and connectedness, with a particular motivation for providing services and activities that enable people to live richer and fuller lives. These include activities that remove barriers to isolation and others that celebrate our community, and services that assist families to thrive and people of all ages to enjoy lifelong education.
