Situated on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, our region encompasses the city of Tauranga (including iconic Mauao | Mount Maunganui) and several idyllic coastal and horticultural towns that sit alongside 125km of pristine Pacific Ocean coastline. These towns include Waihī Beach, Katikati, Papamoa, Te Puke, Whakatāne and Ōhope. Our goal is to preserve the Coastal Bay of Plenty’s unique identity, enhance visitor experiences, and increase investment and supply - whilst also ensuring that visitor-related developments complement the interests of local residents and communities.
