JP is a publicly listed company on the Jamaica Stock Exchange which has been actively contributing to Jamaica’s development for over 90 years. The Group operates in three business divisions both locally and internationally- Food and Drink, and Logistics and Infrastructure and Corporate Services. JP’s Food and Drink Division comprises the Group’s vertically integrated portfolio of subsidiaries that are engaged in farming, food processing, distribution and retail of food and drink. These subsidiaries offer a range of high quality specialty food, including market leading positions in European fresh fruit juice (Hoogesteger), in Tropical snacks and fresh produce through the JP St. Mary's brand, and Tortuga Rum Cakes, Rum and Confectionery, a leading Caribbean travel retail brand. In JP’s Logistics and Infrastructure Division, the Group maintains strong investment in the shipping and logistics industry through a 42% share of Kingston Wharves Ltd., the Caribbean’s leading multi-purpose port, and through its wholly owned subsidiary JP Shipping Services Ltd, a leading freight-forwarder which provides shipping services between Caribbean ports and the United Kingdom. JP also holds a 50% stake in Geest Line, the leading shipping line connecting Europe to the Caribbean. JP’s Corporate Services Division is responsible for corporate leadership and management, special projects, finance and treasury functions net of investment income.
