New Mexico Advocates for the Arts is a non-profit organization based in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We oversee planning and executing of the annual Las Cruces International Mariachi Conference. Over the past 25 years, we have preserved our cultural arts through educational and performance opportunities to over 14,000 students. It is our mission to ensure the prosperity of our annual mariachi conference in addition to providing multi-disciplinary educational programming, exhibitions, activities and performances in the music, dance, visual, theatrical, and literary arts to the region. In addition to the Las Cruces International Mariachi Conference, the New Mexico Advocates for the Arts promotes regional performing arts by supporting organizations such the Camerata del Sol chamber orchestra and the Las Cruces Youth Orchestras. The New Mexico Advocates for the Arts is also a proud member of the Americans for the Arts.
