At Pediatric Endocrine Specialists of Georgia, our mission is to improve access to high quality pediatric subspecialty care. With this in mind, in 2011 Dr. Bernard left his academic appointment and research laboratory to establish a new medical practice. He wanted to provide the same cutting-edge care he had provided as a professor at Washington University in St. Louis and the Medical College of Georgia. However, he wanted to do so in a private practice setting where the focus would be on providing a superior experience for the patient from start to finish. Dr. Bernard is known to be a strong advocate for his patients and his field. His research endeavors have advanced medical knowledge in his field. In addition, he educates physicians, teachers, school nurses, and other members of the community about endocrine disorders. This includes giving continuing medical education lectures to fellow pediatricians highlighting current management practices in pediatric endocrinology. We are proud of the success we have achieved, and we will continue to improve the quality of your patient care experience.
