Les Caraïbes Nordiques includes 5 ecotourism sites located in Northern Quebec: Rapid Lake Lodge in the tundra of Nunavik; Château Johan-Beetz, La Corneille and Lac Victor in Minganie; and Baronnie de Kamouraska in the Lower St. Lawrence. These magnificent territories invite you to live your passion for sustainable fishing, ethical hunting, adventure and ecotourism, or simply to enjoy a vacation. We are progressively developing a range of original experiences inspired by the epic of the coureurs des bois and the nomadic lifestyle of native peoples. These experiences will invite you to discover the landscapes, culture, history and land of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Northern and Eastern Quebec, in symbiosis with the North Shore, Innu, Inuit and Maliseet communities living on the territories where our sites are located. The concept of the Nordic Caribbean is designed and built with the local communities, in a perspective of sustainable development and preservation of ecological and cultural heritage. Whether you are a fisherman, a hiker, a gatherer, curious about cultures and traditions, a nature lover, a photographer, a wellness or canoeing enthusiast, an adventurer at heart or a gourmet, Northern Caribbeans allows you to fulfill your passions and to find the essence of travel.
