Because teams are so important to these companies, they tend to create homebrew systems to give their teams a home. For the rest of tech companies, however, team information lives all over the place. Mostly in outdated wiki’s, unfinished boards and inaccessible spreadsheets. There is no real overview for teams and it hurts the ability of leaders, especially in growing tech companies, to empower teams. Outcome is building TeamOS: a team-first operating system. Using TeamOS, leaders and teams can clarify, explore and evolve teams and the organization. It’s off the shelf, but will feel like a homebrew system because of its ability to adapt to any organization. Our mission is to enable organizations to become better as they get bigger. Great organizations start with a few extraordinary people, but to remain great as they grow in size and complexity, they need more than great people. They need an operating system that enables ordinary people to form empowered teams that deliver extraordinary results. The operational gap will primarily be solved through technology. The time has come for a new generation of platforms to close this gap and thereby accelerate the adoption of more effective ways of working. The future of work is already here. We just need to spread it out faster.
