WorkGain
www.workgain.com.auSouth Australian Company established to bridge the gap between clinical physiotherapy and vocational work rehabilitation. Promoting work specific rehabilitation By simulating work tasks under the supervision of Allied Health Professionals, we are able to promote work specific rehabilitation in a controlled setting. In addition to clients with physical injuries or disabilities, we are also able to design work tasks for people with psychological injuries and facilitate gradual exposure to work duties. Evidence suggests that return to work functions is a good indicator of the overall success of return to work intervention. Therefore, we are providing a platform for injured clients to test and build their capacity away from the workplace, in situations where work duties cannot be provided. Working with existing treatment providers Working closely with the treating General Practitioners, Surgeons and Allied Health Providers, we are working with you to build specific work schedules that will translate clinical treatment into functional work output, even if the injured person is no longer with their pre-injury employer. Building capacity for future employment For injured people who are seeking a career change, but are unsure if they can sustain the physical demands of work, we are able to develop simulations to test and build their capacity for future employment. In addition to the 300m2 warehouse and designated work areas, we also have a wheelchair accessible gym facility and treatment room.
