Founded over 10 years ago, Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue is one of the nation’s largest foster-based animal rescue organizations, with major bases of operation in both Ohio and New York. We work with community and shelter partners to save more animals, more quickly by rescuing them, temporarily caring for them in our supportive foster homes and matching them with fantastic adoptive pet parents. Our mission is to find homes for as many animals as possible and to expand our reach to help in even more areas – especially those that struggle with high populations of homeless and neglected animals.
