Placements Praktikum (UK) Ltd works with German training specialists, including Arbeit und Leben in Hamburg, to manage work placement and education programmes in the West Midlands, England. Over the past 15 years, the organisation – and its predecessor, Wemtech Placements – has helped more than 900 German citizens work, live and study in and around the Midlands. Projects range from four week placements for apprentices to longer placements for more skilled and experienced participants. Accommodation is arranged with Solihull College at the halls of residence or within host families. Self-catering and half-board options are available. English language classes are delivered via Wemtech’s education partner, Solihull College.
