Kipling School (British Curriculum) and its sister school Lycée Voltaire (French Curriculum) (www.csdi.org.eg) are both located in one of Egypt’s landmarks which is the Smart Village, Cairo, Egypt. Smart Village (http://www.smart-villages.com/) is seen as the go to location for hundreds of reputable multinational and local corporations that are looking for a business base in Egypt. The schools work under the auspices of the Child and Society Development Institution (CSDI). CSDI was established in the year 2005 as a non-profitable organization that seeks the welfare and benefit of our society, children and mothers. We provide educational, scientific, cultural, and religious services to both children and mothers in order to become active and better members of the society. Believing that the child is the most important member of our society, CSDI started its participation in the field of education by establishing “Smart Kids Nursery” in Smart Village in 2005 where a secure, happy and stimulating environment is offered. Each child is special and unique and as such we recognize different individual needs. One step of success led to another, and it was only logical that CSDI establish Kipling School and Lycée Voltaire in 2007. The schools started growing tremendously in reputation and numbers and now reaching 2000 students from Foundation Stage to year 11. In the academic year 2016/2017 we will be celebrating our first senior graduating class. The school is set on a modern purpose-built campus. Our campus and its special facilities provide a bright, well-resourced environment for our students. The classrooms are equipped to meet the latest research-based learning requirements of the children. Kipling School is a member of both Cambridge International Examinations and Edexcel and is licensed by the Egyptian Ministry of Education.
