Portfol™ was created by the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) as a tool to manage its own economic development activities and Federally-funded loan programs. PIDC began licensing Portfol™ to other agencies nationwide beginning in 1997. Portfol™ is a Windows®-based, fully-integrated, multi-user system that tracks activities from the initial call and deal structuring, through the lending approval process, and finally the servicing of the loan.
