The League of Romanian Students Abroad (LSRS) is an open platform of dialogue and action for Romanian students and alumni around the world, with over 12.000 members in more than 50 different countries. Our primary purpose is to promote our members' academic, professional, social, civic, and cultural interests, and to facilitate their individual and collective contribution to Romania's development. Our members are valuable representatives of our country, distinguishing themselves through personal initiative, professionalism, unity, and a positive attitude regarding their potential return to Romania in the future. The Netherlands branch of The League of Romanian Students Abroad was established in 2014, and its members are around 20 volunteers studying at top universities across the country. As a branch of LSRS, we aim to stand by the same values that define the organization, and to follow the same principles of initiative, solidarity, professionalism and excellence. In the past decade, The Netherlands have become one of the preferred countries for Romanian students choosing to pursue a degree abroad, given the quality of the Dutch higher education, and LSRS The Netherlands aims to support the new generations of Romanian students pursuing their studies at Dutch universities.
