Jamaica Institute of Financial Services (JIFS) was established in 1977 as the Jamaica Institute of Bankers. In 1999 the Jamaica Bankers Association assumed full responsibility for the organisation and changed its name to JIFS in 2010 and reflects its mandate to support the financial services industry through training (Financial Services Training Institute), research via the Research Club and Social exchange with the Finance Club. JIFS enjoys a number of strategic partnerships both locally, regionally and internationally and now offers the Chartered Banker MBA programme. We also offer certification programmes via the International Compliance Training (UK) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Scotland.
