Homes for America (HFA), based in Annapolis, Maryland, is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization which develops and owns affordable housing in the mid-Atlantic states of Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Virginia. HFA’s mission is to create and preserve affordable housing enhanced with services for low and moderate income families, seniors and persons with special needs. To date, the organization had developed 80 communities consisting of approximately 6,500 apartments. We are one of the largest and most productive nonprofit developers in the country and in the region, the 11th largest in the nation.
