The LYLG act as a London branch of the Law Society Junior Lawyers Division. We organise events in London on a monthly basis for law students and young lawyers up to 7 years PQE. Our events range from simple networking drinks, to careers evenings, CPD seminars, speed networking sessions and our famed summer boat party on the Thames. We hope that our events allow young lawyers to to improve their networking skills in an informal environment, with people at the same stage of their career. As well as increasing your own individual network within the profession, there are also opportunities to attend events with young members of other professions. Our membership ranges from law students to solicitors up to seven years PQE. You do not have to be a member to attend events, although there are a number of perks and benefits to membership. These include discounted prices to ticketed LYLG events and some of the Law Society Junior Lawyers Division events.
