I am excited to announce the opening of my own counseling practice, Sarah Boone Counseling, based in downtown Bethesda, MD. I provide psychotherapy for individuals (ages 18+) and families. I also provide group therapy. My specialty areas include grief and loss, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, and motherhood/fatherhood. I have specialized training in integrating faith and spirituality into the counseling process. I have been leading grief and loss therapy groups that include yoga. These groups have been described as transformational. I will continue groups for spouse/partner loss as well as parent/sibling loss. I have experience in leading and speaking at workshops and retreats and welcome new opportunities.
