The Little Art School On The Court is home based, locally run “arts” school located in the Historic Meadowvale Village area of Mississauga, Ontario. With a passion for all things creative and a love for teaching and inspiring children, Allison Shiraga (aka Miss Allison) has developed a number of age appropriate programs in 2 categories. For The Love Of Art The Importance of The Arts: Our role as parents is to expose our children to a variety of creative materials & experiences. Children learn through their senses and through experimentation with these materials. The visual arts expand how children view the world and teach them to express themselves and to problem solve. The Living Arts THE LIVING ARTS Program is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn the basics. We should all know how to sew on a button and bake a cake from scratch! This program will build new skills as well children's confidence and self-esteem. These programs/classes are offered in a nurturing, creative and fun environment, emphasizing cooperation, respect and responsibility.
