The Jersey Sport Foundation was founded in April 2014 to assist the development of emerging and established athletes in Jersey. The JSF works closely with local Sports Associations to identify how the JSF can provide support to athletes. Additionally, the JSF aims to maintain the development and delivery of local athlete pathways, coach education services and Physical Literacy in the community. Since inception the JSF have been fortunate to work developmental performance athletes that have a desire to reach the top level in their sports. The JSF’s target is to continue to work with these athletes, as well as providing the building blocks for emerging athletes to reach the same level. The JSF provides support to a large number of local athletes through a Performance Development Programme. The programme incorporates strength and conditioning, massage therapy, physiotherapy and nutrition. Through this the JSF hope to provide the support necessary to help local athletes achieve their sports dreams.
