I started professional research in 1986 before the days of qualifications and digitisation. Working alongside an experienced researcher at that time I discovered the sources available to researchers by working with them. My knowledge of sources and ways of research are very thorough. However, knowledge is never complete and I am still learning about the availability of sources to the family genealogist even after 30 years!
