I am Seb Holt, a student member of the Chartered Society of Designers and a design student at Nottingham Trent University. My design language echoes elements of modernism and minimalism, with the upmost importance given to the smallest of details, such as the inset of a single screw. I have always had a key interest in the inner-workings of products as well as technology. an example of this can be seen in the design of the Casio timepiece ‘Simmental’. Each component, from the jewels down to the smallest cog, was recreated to add extra realism to the final outcome.
