SHIFRA (aka In Shifra's Arms) is a unique Jewish support network for women with unplanned pregnancy crises. SHIFRA provides free professional counseling, material and financial aid, and a lifetime of parenting support. SHIFRA also provides sensitive and caring follow-up after miscarriage or terminations. We are a nonpartisan 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our supporters, board, volunteers, and staff reflect a diverse group of Jews, including Orthodox and secular, pro-choice and pro-life. We unite to make sure SHIFRA's unique services are available to anyone who wants them.
