The restaurant group is multi award winning with both restaurants picking up numerous awards throughout our 39 year history. We have the largest dim sum menu in the UK and we specialise in Cantonese classics. Chung Ying Central won the venue of the year in 2015 with the Chamber of Commerce and Birmingham Mail's Best Restaurant in 2016. In 2018, Chung Ying Cantonese was a finalist for the Restaurant of the Year at the Birmingham Awards and then went on to win the Best Chinese Restaurant in the Midlands, at the British Chinese Food Awards. In 2019, Chung Ying Cantonese won two awards at the Midland Food Drink and Hospitality Awards; winning the best Oriental restaurant in the Midlands and the "Peoples Choice" award. Cantonese then went on to win the Restaurant of the Year in the Birmingham Awards at the end of 2019. Chung Ying Cantonese in China Town is one of the leading Cantonese restaurants in the UK, seating 120 in our upstairs function room (currently not open) and over 100 guests in our newly refubished downstairs indoor area and our new outside, covered terraced area. Unfortunately Chung Ying Central is currently closed.
