EYESORE is a print magazine documenting cities and investigating places. Set up by a group of friends in 2016, the magazine uses journalism, photography and media to explore the relationship between people and the places they inhabit today. With three issues published and a fourth on its way, our stories have come from all over the world. From Serbia to Seoul, London to Lagos, we offer a human-based perspective on urban issues which are both local and global at the same time. The content is unrestricted to one form or feature, and EYESORE, or you saw, is the locus. We also organise panel discussions and talks with previous speakers including the photographer Rut Blees Luxemburg (The Streets, Bloc Party), Anna Harding (SPACE), architectural critic Phineas Harper, activist group Focus E15 and Seth Scafe-Smith (Resolve). Our podcast series includes interviews with writer Iain Sinclair, musician Sarathy Korwar and the social entrepreneur Nick Hartwright.
