APEC (Associative Power Engineering Community) is a Not for profit organization headquartered at Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. It was founded on October 2006 aiming to fill the gap between the technical knowledge studied in universities and career life. APEC is considered the first activity of this kind in the Middle East totally Organized by Engineering Students. APEC in cooperation with leading multinational industrial companies offers free technical courses, visits & summer training opportunities for undergraduates besides many other events. Through APEC, remarkable and leading contributions are being achieved in connecting the two Engineering wings: Applied Technical knowledge and Academic Study.
